When I came across a snippet of an interview with Yuval Noah Harari on YouTube, where he discusses the drawbacks of AI and how it would render people ineffective and their jobs obsolete in the future, it greatly annoyed me. As a technophile, I thought to myself, “Here is another celebrity making a fuss about something he doesn’t comprehend.” I felt he was underestimating the magnitude of our achievements and being shortsighted regarding what Large Language Models could mean for the world as a whole.

I did the audio version of the book and I think that was not a very good idea. I got the basic gist, but if you are keen on following the meditation methods mentioned in the last chapters, the paper version would by more practical.

The book emphasizes the importance of waking up with a sense of purpose, practicing focused living, and being mindful of your diet and how you treat your body as keys to living a healthy and fulfilling life. These might seem obvious, but we often tend to avoid doing the most obvious things.
