As a newcomer to quantum mechanics and quantum computing, I really enjoyed the flow of this book. The author begins with the basics and provides insight into several concepts. He explains the historical beginnings as well as the physics, which I liked very much. I learned many new things, and several buzzwords and concepts became clearer.

The second part of the book, on how quantum computers will change everything, was exciting. It was interesting to read about all the possibilities and the problems. The author addresses a wide range of topics, from environmental issues to cancer cures, to protein folding, to space exploration, and more.

There is a lot of information in this book and a lot to process. The gist of it is that dopamine is the molecule that drives our decisions and action, and that many times we have little control over it. I liked how the author uses many real life examples from everyday life and politics.

The book helps with self-introspection, encouraging you to analyze where your dissatisfaction or unhappiness stems from, and whether you can do something about it. Why addiction cannot be overcome purely with willpower, and the importance of community and support groups, was very interesting to read about.
