Michelle Obama, so much grace, so much wisdom, and yet so humble and down to earth. A woman with passion who shined despite her husband. I listened to the audio version of the book, and her narration was so good that at times I felt like I was in the same room with her, experiencing what she was talking about. Her closeness to her parents, her family, her husband, and her children is all remarkable. She had to give up being herself because of her husband, but she kept reinventing herself and staying true to her beliefs.

This book is highly informative.It is a hard read as there is so much information and studies, but I still loved it. I come from a generation that often received advice to toughen up and refrain from complaining to succeed in a predominantly male-dominated world, I work in. Nobody expected me to do the man’s job or be part of this world’it was my own wanting and doing. If I pointed out its disadvantages, I might have been deemed unfit for the job.
