I listened to the audio version of the book, and her narration was so good that at times I felt like I was in the same room with her, experiencing what she was talking about. Her closeness to her parents, her family, her husband, and her children is all remarkable. Continue reading

This book is highly informative. It is a hard read as there is so much information and studies, but I still loved it. I come from a generation that often received advice to toughen up and refrain from complaining to succeed in a predominantly male-dominated world, I work in. Nobody expected me to do the man’s job or be part of this world—it was my own wanting and doing. If I pointed out its disadvantages, I might have been deemed unfit for the job. Continue reading

The Code Breaker

Author: Walter Isaacson Publication Date: March 2021

Biographies from Walter Isaacson are well researched and well written. I liked Steve Jobs and Albert Einstein and so when I saw he had written another one, I decided to buy it. He always made it sound like they were the sole responsible behind the technological revolution. However in Code Breaker, a lot of characters are introduced.
